THE FABLED SUN INN

Details: The Fabled Sun is a small, very well-kept stone Erämi-run establishment frequented by local hunters and visitors looking for a good time. The place was designed after the traditional Erämi home, with a large oven located in the common room. All cooking is done in the presence of the patrons, and served hot. It's simple and hearty and flavoured with herbs and seasonings native to Eräland. A wooden, simple statue of Erä in the style of the Erämi people stands guard outside the main entry. The Erämi are said to hail from 'The Land Where The Sun Sets', or 'The Autumn Lands'... which is the origin of the inn's name. Though there are inn rooms, the dormitory and its bunks are common lodgings for those staying here. They are cheap and comfortable. A storage room to the right of the entry is used as a locked storage chamber for those looking to protect any personal effects. Good hunting dogs, Erämi wolfhounds, are trained by the innkeepers Aamu and Eerikki. They are kept on-premises for rent as hunting companions. The children of the proprietors, the twin girls Inga and Inka, and the eldest, Juhani, care for the grounds and keep it up, as well as train and care for the animals, when their parents are indisposed. Hefty fees are levied against those who get any dog killed. The songs of the Erämi epic, the Erämala, compiled by Lumenorian scholars during The Age of Empire, are sung by the deep, resonant vocals of Juhani, accompanied by the haunting refrains of his sisters are frequently sung later, as the sun sets, to please patrons before and as they leave, but, often, someone working there has a song on their lips as they cook and clean. The Fabled Sun is well-known for the kindness of the innkeepers, and its peaceful atmosphere.
